Truthworker Theatre Company Workshop with Grafton Reintergration Center 10/10

cfc-small-pic-group

On Saturday afternoon, Truthworker will be at GRC, in Grafton, Ohio,  a minimum security prison. We have the amazing chance to share an excerpt of our work and facilitate a workshop with incarcerated men. The workshop will be a chance for the youth of truthworker to share life experiences and art with men who are currently incarcerated. This is an incredible and profound opportunity and the workshop will focus on finding freedom, justice, redemption, and hope.

IN|PRISM, May 7-May 10 at JACK, Brooklyn, NY

Truthworker Theatre Co. in partnership with JACK Presents:

IN|PRISM: Boxed In & Blacked Out in America

An original work devised through direct conversation with those inside, IN|PRISM examines the impacts & practices of solitary confinement in US prisons, tracing one man’s remarkable capacity for liberation within the walls of death row.

We have the unique and humbling opportunity to be working directly with Jarvis Jay Masters, an innocent man on death row, who has been incarcerated since the age of 19 in San Quentin Prison & institutionalized since he was a young boy.
