Truthworker is thrilled to be partnering with Harlem Stage’s Educational Program in offering this unique school time performance for 9th-12th graders, exploring the many facets of mass incarceration, the school to prison pipeline, re-entry and family relationships, and healing and reconciliation.

Re-imagining A Safe Space, co-curated by Deborah Willis & Melissa Harris, will explore critical questions regarding the idea of a safe space. We hope to reach deeper and richer understanding of our needs as a public—and how those needs differ depending on demographics and who we are individually.

The Spring exhibition will include works by 22 photographers, video artists, and visual artists who explore the theme of the exhibition through their works:
