Samara Gaev will be joining Rasu Jilani on a panel and workshop at The New School addressing community engagement, social justice, self-care, and the role of trauma, healing & imagination in her work as it relates to mass incarceration, youth, and cycles of violence.

Samara and Alixa will be in California, sharing their creative and magnetic tools of social justice art with First Nation youth on August 6th . The experience will be a continuation of a summer filled with workshop exchanges, and performances with young people who are committed to envisioning and actively participating in justice.
